give thanks!

I passed Thanksgiving without the traditional list of what I am thankful for this year. So the list is as follows...

My Savior.

Family that is kind, supporting, encouraging and loves the Lord.

Young Life. I prayed for an outlet for God to use me and my overwhelming need to love on people. This was His answer.

My new friends, Northside YL leaders. They provide constant encouragement and laughter.

My roommate and best friend of 12 years. Too few people are blessed with a friendship like ours. She is more patient and loving than I deserve. And she makes me laugh.

Conquering my fear of mascots. (kinda)

Having a good job. Having a job at all.

Generally good health.

The DAWGS (barely) surviving the season.

And finally, it's my favorite time of the year...Christmas! (and my birthday)

Cold weather. Pretty lights. Beautiful music. Time off from work/school. Good cooking. Classic Christmas movies.

Best time of the year. Every year.
